Sales Manager
We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with previous experience in staircases, architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry to join our team in Helston, Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Working with marketing to identify and evaluate new business opportunities
- Meeting with potential clients, online and in person, to discuss their needs nationally
- Handling the sales process which includes pre-sales, to sales, to after sales, via email, face to face and telephone
- Generation of quotes and follow-up
- Coordination with other team members to establish pricing
- Checking of drawings to ensure they meet required specifications
- Preparing monthly reports on sales activity and KPI improvement activity
- Delivering CPD presentations online and in person
Knowledge and Skills
- Must have previous experience in architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent people management skills
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical sales skills
Salary from £40,000 plus quarterly bonus.
