Sales Manager

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with previous experience in staircases, architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry to join our team in Helston, Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Working with marketing to identify and evaluate new business opportunities
  • Meeting with potential clients, online and in person, to discuss their needs nationally
  • Handling the sales process which includes pre-sales, to sales, to after sales, via email, face to face and telephone
  • Generation of quotes and follow-up
  • Coordination with other team members to establish pricing
  • Checking of drawings to ensure they meet required specifications
  • Preparing monthly reports on sales activity and KPI improvement activity
  • Delivering CPD presentations online and in person

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have previous experience in architectural steel or technical sales in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical sales skills

Salary from £40,000 plus quarterly bonus.
