This external spiral staircase really demonstrates that we can produce spiral fire escape staircases of any shape and size. This was one of a range of external escape stairs created for Cummins UK in Daventry, a leading manufacturer of diesel engines.
Working with SDC Builders, we designed and manufactured this large external spiral stair which had a security enclosure at the base, a rest landing, middle landing and a top landing that incorporated a section of straight treads right at the top.

This imposing external spiral staircase was fabricated in mild steel galvanised to ISO EN1461. All our fire escape stairs are compliant with British Standard BS5395 Part II (Code of Practice for the design of helical and spiral stairs 1984).
