Spiral UK targets a step change in growth

Find out how we are supporting our ambitious growth plans by investing in new staff, new technology and a re-branded website. Enhancing our reputation as specialist bespoke staircase manufacturer.

Eric Nicholls MD Spiral UK

We have added to our 50-strong skilled team with the recruitment of a new Design Manager and a new Project Manager with a background in staircase installation for the London fit out market. This will enable us to continue to improve our workflow practices and pursue exciting new market opportunities.

In order to achieve the highest standards in computer-aided design, Spiral UK have invested in cutting-edge Solidworks software as well as the latest state of the art CNC machine improving the accuracy of the transition from design to fabrication. This will build on our market-leading skills in 3D modelling, design and fabrication.

At the same time, the company has re-branded with a sleek new logo and a new website which will showcase our design and manufacturing expertise, giving our customers ideas and suggestions on designs and materials, and allowing them to get expert advice on their next project.

Commenting on these initiatives, Spiral UK’s MD, Eric Nicholls, said:

“Over the last 30 years, we have become widely recognised as the leading manufacturer of bespoke staircases in the UK. In order to stay ahead of the competition, it is vital that we continue to innovate and improve. This new investment provides a platform for us to do just that.

“There are four key markets that we service, each with their own particular requirements. These four markets are commercial projects, escape stairs, luxury residential and fit out. Our new website allows us to show how we tailor our approach to the needs of these different types of customer and the processes that we put in place to ensure outstanding results.

“These are very exciting times for our team. There is a strong demand for their specialist skills and we continue to win a wide range of high-profile commissions.”

Spiral UK has recently completed feature staircases for the Sony Interactive head office in London and for the new Link Building at Falmouth University. Current new projects include staircases for the Salesforce Tower in London and large fire escape staircases for Exeter University.
