We can supply timber or stone treads, cantilevered from a wall stringer (either exposed or hidden behind wall finishes), with the treads seeming to float from the adjacent structure without any visible support.
There are a number of balustrade options, including stainless steel, glass and timber, in a variety of different designs.
As part of our ongoing product development we have recently launched a new style of cantilevered stair comprising post tensioned white concrete treads, normally supplied with stainless steel or structural glass balustrading. The Leonard Street project utilised stainless steel rigging wires to create a crisp and clean design complimenting the solid appearance of the treads and landings. The treads had inset maple tread nosings.
Spiral UK installed this stunning feature staircase in a luxury house in Cornwall.
