Helical Staircases

We produce a range of helical staircase designs which offer a stunning visual feature to any building. Helical stairs are individually designed and manufactured enabling us to combine a number of materials and finishes to produce a striking addition to any project.

Stairs are offered with a central ‘spine beam’ or parallel side stringers. Flat plate, channel or tubular sections can be used. This type of circular stair requires site welding so stringers are normally supplied in a primer finish for site painting.

Treads can be supplied in smooth steel plate for carpeting or as a tray to receive screed or concrete by others. Alternatively treads can be wooden or natural stone.

Balustrade systems for helical stairs are also designed individually, normally in tubular stainless steel or powder coated mild steel with the option of curved or facetted infill panels in glass or perforated sheet.
